Mar del Plata/ Artwork: “Mi lugar en el mundo”, Contest winner

"My place in the world" and seeks to reflect the vitality and diversity of a current Mar del Plata, where nature and architecture coexist in harmony. At the heart of the mural, a young couple with looks full of dreams and determination, surrounded by fish that defy gravity, representing the dreams we create and realize as a metaphor for the entrepreneurial spirit of the city. I incorporate elements that refer to current trends, such as specialty coffee, the production of gin and beer and remote work, which connects Mar del Plata with the world. Two central phrases invite us to reflect on what makes us feel that a place is truly ours in the world, encouraging us to make this city our home.
